CONTINUING IMPROVING THE RESILINK MOBILE APP!

The Living-Lab Piloting Program is running since March 2025 in Algeria, Egypt and Morocco. However, the development team in UPPA & Orange is continuously improving it:

  • a new color identity proposed by Orange’s designers has been adopted for better readability and to better set the RESILINK’s identity
  • helper screens have been designed to explain the application’s main features to new users, in both English and Arabic versions
  • the country selection page has been generalized in order to be able to add new countries when scaling up
  • when creating an account, the field of activity is now a drop down list in order to better identify without ambiguities the domain of activity of a user. This is important for the offer recommendation system
  • quick evaluation of the app is now integrated into the user’s account menu

RESILINK MOBILE APP ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE

The RESILINK mobile app will be available soon on the Google Play Store! It has been a long and complex process but we are almost there! We are still in the internal tests required by Google Play Store but stay tuned for the news when it will be publicly ready!

CALL FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT PROOF-OF-CONCEPT

RESILINK launch a survey for the Call for Application Development Proof-of-Concept. The first target are currently the contributing projects of the Resilient Smallholder Initiative.

RESILINK (https://resilink.eu/) is a research & innovation project funded by PRIMA (https://prima-med.org/) which is co-funded by the European Union. RESILINK is developing Digital Platforms to increase the resilience of smallholder farmer communities by discovering & trading local resources in order to enable the continuity of activities even in severe crisis situation. By promoting the platform-of-platforms approach, RESILINK wants to step aside the usual approach of isolation between platforms that usually lead to competition instead of collaboration. For the platform-of-platforms purpose, RESILINK is developing an open-source server with an open API that can be used by third-parties to quickly build and deploy their own digital platforms for other application domains where there is a need to discover, share/trading local resources and create synergies.

This Call for Application Development Proof-of-Concept wants to extend the RESILINK’s approach to other application domains. By answering this survey, you help us identify additional needs and new possibilities where the RESILINK  open-source server and open API  can be used. Among the collected propositions, 1 (maybe 2) proposition(s) will be selected for implementation by RESILINK as an additional proof-of-concept. Your input is very valuable for us.
